Russian republics that could declare independence. Why do they need Moscow holding them back? Some would be very rich on their own

A resounding nothing heard round the world from #Scholz. It will Echo through the burned out buildings of Mariupol, the army bases in Odessa and the children’s wards of Kyiv. It should be heard - and rejected - by all of us who want #Germany to do more, who want #Ukraine to win

Donbas is living hell. As everyone turns off their lights today in warm beds, in peaceful cities, think about the soldiers defending your comfort, think about those who die for you to live.

Kyiv was founded in 482. In 1147, the Grand Duke of Kyiv and ruler of the Kyivan Rus’, Yuriy Dolhoruky, issued a decree founding Moscow. In 2022, Kyiv City Council rescinded this decree, saying it was due to a “historical misunderstanding.” Moscow no longer exists.

Another act of the russian genocide of the Ukrainian people. This time the ruscists targeted a mall in #Kremenchuk, in the afternoon when it is always especially crowded. The war criminals wanted to kill the civilians, deliberately aiming for the maximum number of casualties.

Olenivka POW massacre thread 🧵: 1) it wasn't a GMLRS rocket 2) it was a thermobaric weapon 3) russia staged it and did so (as usual) incompetently Firstly: keeping POWs so close to the front violates Article 19 of the Third Geneva Convention making it a war crime. 1/n
