Today we present a work on synthetic graphite production from unburned carbon in fly-ash. In this research, in collaboration with research groups from Portugal, Poland, South Africa and Romania, the microstructural evaluation during high-temperature treatment have been studied.

This week, our colleague Mario Sánchez presented, at the 35th World Congress on Biosensors held in Lisbon, the latest results on the use of graphene aerogels to detect paracetamol in sweat, in collaboration with the A-PECS research group from the University of Antwerp (Belgium).

We are thrilled to announce our new M-ERA.NET project. We will coordinate the work to reach TRL7 in the development of advanced materials for solid-state Na-ion batteries. We are eager to work with specialists in solid electrolytes, battery assemblers and end-users!
