Just finished Robert (Bob) Bosch’s book Opt Art. I’m blown away by the idea of creating art by solving linear optimization problems. The book is a detailed and well explained account of how it’s done. Check it out! #mathreads

After I read David Acheson’s Wonderbook of Geometry, I bought his The calculus story. I was not disappointed. The math is presented in such a neat, simple and novel way, with plenty of historical references. How about this geometrical illustration of the product rule? #mathreads
