have I started my 2026 garden? well, not really. But I have basil in my aerogarden and sweet potato slips sprouting. Also sprinkled some lettuce seeds into the free modules in there, so it's a start at least! 2 of my fave varieties - lettuce leaf basil, and little gem lettuce🌱

my number one writing tip related to this that helps me (as someone who is not a writer per se, i only really write when inspiration strikes) is that you need to be reading your prose out loud. if it sounds weird to say, it probably sounds weird to someone else reading it

writing advice: - a lot of what you write will be just okay - some of what your write will be trash - a fraction of what you will write will feel brilliant - once you hit something brilliant you’ll probably think you’re trash again and that’s okay, that’s your standards rising
