The Tucker lab received our first NOA! We will use our NIH R21 funding to profile and functionally characterize tRNA fragments made during MHV68 infection. Feeling thankful for hardworking trainees and terrific faculty mentors. Now, on to discovery (and more grants soon!) 🤞🏻

Saying goodbye to my first grad student, Dr. Bri Steiert, on Friday was bittersweet! Excited for her postdoc with @ShawLab_WSU. Thrilled she's continuing her journey with obligate intracellulars—can't wait to see all the amazing things she accomplishes next!
