Last week we held our monthly #LittleHares session, and this month's theme was Music Therapy. Led by our highly specialist Music Therapist, the session involved musical activities to encourage the babies and toddlers to engage their listening and communication skills.
Our Primary pupils have been enjoying extended celebrations of this year's #WorldBookDay . Yesterday our Sixth Formers studying Childcare joined the pupils as they enjoyed a day of book-related activities, and today they have dressed in their favourite characters!
Last week, students from our Secondary School enjoyed a day of competition at the Aquatic Centre in London, representing Mary Hare School against other deaf schools in the Panathlon Challenge swimming competition. For some of the students this was their first time representing the school.
It was an honour for #KennetDance pupils to be invited to perform in the 'Ignite the Stage' show Arlington Arts Centre. This showcase exhibited the high level of local talent but, more importantly, helped raise funds for the worthy Mary Hare School Foundation: tinyurl.com/5588xrfs
A huge well done to our Primary pupils who, last week, took part in the Panathlon Challenge swimming competition at the Aquatic Centre in the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park in London, and came first! A fantastic event where they were able to compete against other children from deaf schools.
In the lead up to this weekend's Chinese New Year celebrations, our Sixth Formers who are currently studying Childcare, and also take part in the Cooking Club, led a fantastic session for our Primary pupils where they made (and ate!) some delicious dumplings.🐉 #ChineseNewYear2024
