Team Canada continued our engagement with the USA during a working lunch with members of the CABC . We discussed the important trade and investment relationship between our countries and new opportunities to strengthen 🇨🇦🇺🇸 supply chains and boost economic resilience.

Bonne nouvelle: la Banque du Canada réduit à nouveau les taux d’intérêt. Nous avons été les 1ers du G7 à réduire les taux en juin et juillet et maintenant les 1ers à le faire une 3e fois. C’est un soulagement pour plusieurs et ça veut dire que notre plan économique fonctionne.

Good news for Canadians: the Bank of Canada is cutting interest rates again. We were the first G7 country to cut rates in June and July and now the first to cut rates for a third time. This is welcome relief for so many Canadians and shows that our economic plan is working.

Markham-Thornhill is a vibrant, hardworking and diverse community that I’m proud to serve as their Member of Parliament. It was terrific to attend so many great events and connect with constituents and communities this summer!
