I agree that this attack plays into the hands of Israel. I also think we will see more like it, for the simple reason that mass action has had no effect on US policy, much less on the actual genocide. Desperate people, horrified by the genocide, will do desperate things.

It's key to understand that Washington does not understand the shooting as an American murdering foreign government officials for political reasons. They understand it as Palestinians bewitching someone to murder a couple that could easily have been working in U.S. politics.
