It is funny reading what we articulate in speech rather than what we write, but I think it actually might mean we say things more naturally and simply, anyway Beatrice Bowlby from BioTechniques asked good questions 🙂!

Now BeckyMayerCentreforPhageResearch are one year old! Thanks to everyone who has worked so hard to make so many good thing happen! instagram.com/p/C7ok97Xs0hJ/…

And for those of you wanting to know what we at BeckyMayerCentreforPhageResearch have been up to in our first year here is a wee summary: le.ac.uk/news/2024/june…

I was very honoured to be invited to Association for Molecular Pathology Madrid – very nice to think about diagnosis and treatment of infectious diseases in the same light as Cancer, see where phages fit and learn across disciplines how new tools in Machine Learning can help us see the wood from the trees!

I think this will be a great project for someone - if we can easily monitor the way patients immune systems respond throughout phage therapy treatment we will be able to get a really good handle on what is happening 🙂! You will work with Spyridon Megremis, PhD (he/him)🇬🇷🏀☘️🎧, Don Jones and me!

It was a lot of fun to talk about our BeckyMayerCentreforPhageResearch work as part of all things phage, and be a part of this lovely show with such intersting guests and engaging host. bbc.co.uk/sounds/play/m0…

Thank you BeckyMayerCentreforPhageResearch folk and all the other presenters at the Bacteriophage Oxford meeting for the great talks and lively discussions 🙂! Hope everyone has good journeys back, I'm home still happily processing it all!

PhD studentship with Andrew millard and me at BeckyMayerCentreforPhageResearch . Part of larger CF Trust Hub led by @JoJofoth Selection of bacteriophages for therapeutic use in cystic fibrosis-associated Pseudomonas aeruginosa infections at University of Leicester

Why BeckyMayerCentreforPhageResearch - alongside our phage colleagues globally, are doing the work we do articulated in 30 seconds!

Latest BeckyMayerCentreforPhageResearch snap! After our lab meeting, traditional Christmas quiz and a feast that suggested a positive correlation between phage biology and cooking 🙂!

Exciting update and developments for and within our BeckyMayerCentreforPhageResearch which will become the Becky Mayer Centre for Phage Research - we will be recruiting new staff early next year so please watch this space! le.ac.uk/news/2024/dece…
