Ugh. Pain is flaring up and it's only Tuesday.

I used to think I can't have ADHD because I wasn't hyperactive. Not everyone can allow themselves to act on their hyperactivity, so we find ways to redirect or hide the understimulation. (Sneak introduction to the new inattentive Alien! A hommage to a collab I did with René❤️)

Sigh... I just... want to walk... without feeling like someone's shooting nail guns into my feet.

Hey #WritingCommunity, question for ya. Would an author who plans to write both dark and more lighthearted fantasy be shooting themselves in the foot for success w/ the latter if their first novel was a super dark fantasy? Like do writers tend to get "typecast" by their 1st book?
