I’ve been fielding dozens of phone calls at work today in which I’ve had to tell people no about something again and again. I’ve used the word ‘unfortunately’ so many times I feel like a rejection letter. 😭

I can’t be the only writer who feels obligated to write all the scenes in order. Even if I don’t know everything that’ll happen in the current scene, it’ll inform what happens in the next scene I DO know, so I HAVE to flesh out this one for the sake of that one, sigh… 😩

Had a dream that my dearly departed cat cracked a gold theft ring, a la Scooby Doo. Except much classier and with a lot more slow blinking and laying around involved.

Once I get done with this 120-130 hour long pay period, I think I’m gonna have to buy myself a reward for surviving. 🫠

Writers, I’m curious: As a kid, did you read encyclopedias/dictionaries/thesauruses/reference books for fun? Or was I just weird?
