Thank you Sen. Debbie Stabenow for your principled leadership in the U.S. Senate, for your faithful public service to the people of Michigan, and for giving me a start in politics as a Congressional intern back in 2003.
The MI Dept. of Licensing & Regulatory Affairs leadership team & I were pleased to attend the #MiSOTS23 last night at the Capitol. Inspired by Governor Gretchen Whitmer 's speech, LARA is fired up to “roll up our sleeves & do the work” of protecting people & promoting business on behalf of the Michiganders we serve.
Join Governor Gretchen Whitmer and State Budget Office of Michigan Director Christopher M. Harkins as they present the FY 2024 Executive Budget, Wednesday, Feb. 8 at 11 a.m. You can watch a live stream of the presentation on Senate TV at bit.ly/3YppiJw.
Happy #MiBudget Day to all the hard working staff at the State Budget Office of Michigan Office. A lot of work goes into preparing the Governor's Executive Budget Recommendation. Take some time to celebrate this day and the historic budget that Governor Gretchen Whitmer is advancing to the #MiLEG.
I’m truly honored to be part of the inaugural class of Public Life Fellows at the The Center for Christianity and Public Life. I look forward to thoughtfully exploring the intersection of faith and public service with a diverse group of accomplished leaders. #ccpubliclife

This is a great Bridge Michigan reflection piece for Juneteenth written by LARA Director Marlon Brown Orlene Hawks. We should always give back and work to inspire the next generation of black leaders. Opinion: Juneteenth Is an opportunity to inspire next generation bridgemi.com/guest-commenta…

IT’S ON! EGLE Director Phil Roos and MI Dept. of Licensing & Regulatory Affairs Director Marlon Brown **attempt** to look menacing as the final State Employee Engagement Survey results roll in. The agency with the highest response rate wins, and the loser has to wear the other’s gear for a day! 😲
