One of my favorite times of the year planting test plots with my Seed Advisors and customers, some of these plots have 7 new products this year!

This past week I had the privilege of working with 2 brand new Golden Harvest Seed Advisors, Ray Hedgcock and Shannon Wright of Fruita CO and Bob Harlow from Limon CO. Enjoy working with new and committed individual’s!

Even after all these years I still get excited looking at new products in my test plots. This plot near Swink CO has 8 brand new hybrids.

Beautiful drive yesterday between Scottsbluff and Hemingford NE, Cattle country!

Out for some early morning exercise Verrado AZ. Spent yesterday looking our corn with Andrew Van Sant, more of the same today. New E114C4 DV and G15L32 DV stood out.

Yesterday was spent looking at Andrew Van Sant’s customer’s corn between Phoenix and Yuma AZ. Andrew is flying his drone over a customers field. The G17A74 is 13’ tall, twin row, drip irrigation.

Yesterday GH agronomist Luke Curl and myself walked numerous fields with Nick Lapisotas and his son Nicholas. These fields are near Bridgeport NE, you can see the effects of last Fridays hail. Part of life in the High Plains.

My Crew this morning-Kevin Robinson runs a fine well tuned organization! Robb Knorrs plot Maricopa AZ-very hot glad I’m in the chopper!

Jon Douglas GH Sales Rep, Cody Beauchamp GH dealer and myself had a great time putting up signs by Cody’s plot near Swink CO. Everything from G95D32 to G16K01. The highlight though was eating at Felisha’s in LaJunta after we were done!

I had help putting up signs over the weekend!

As I continue with my job I cherish the relationships and my loyal GH dealers. Two old guys putting up signs on Robert Looses’s test plot in 103* heat.

What an honor to go through Terrell Farms test plot in one of my favorite places in NE, the Mirage Flats. Vern Terrell starting with his father and brother have been 100% GH since 1974. A cold one sure tasted good on a hot day after going through their plot!

We had almost perfect attendance at our Kickoff mtg. In Sterling CO, had 3 that drive over 300 miles, excitement about the new “U” series hybrids, much thanks to Jake, Luke, Adam, John, Todd and Darren for their help. Lots of work but worth it!

Enjoyed spending the day working with my newest GH dealer, Bob & Brianne Harlow from Limon CO, we toured Bobs dry land test plot, G91V51 is looking good along with several of the new “U” series. G98U62 just might be a dry land variety! Going to be a fun journey with Bob&Brianne!

A good time was had by all last night at Brandon Barton’s field day, awesome brisket, excitement about our new U series hybrids, a downpour did not dampen the fun! Brandon has a beautiful shop!

You can’t hardly see Tim in his field of G97B68, had a good time touring Tim and Kyle Kumpf’s test plots and fields along with GH agronomist Luke Curl and Tim’s son Kyle yesterday! The new “U” hybrids are looking good!

Had a good time on a hot windy afternoon NE of Cheyenne Wells CO weighing Barry and Jamie Gerstner’s dry land corn plot! New GH “U” series did well, in-spite of very limited moisture.

Beautiful fall afternoon at Kevin and Darren Lufts farm looking at their soybeans and watching their late planted G95D32 V being chopped.

Always enjoy when I get to go to the Mirage Flats, in the panhandle of NE and weigh Vern and Brock Terrell’s GH test plot. Although the yields this year are down our new “U” series did well.
