Officials at Allegheny County Health Department announced they will begin including data on race within their COVID-19 reports, starting today.
In today’s #COVID19 update for PA: Dr. Rachel Levine announces 1,676 new positive cases of coronavirus, since yesterday, bringing the statewide total to 21,655 cases. There were also 78 additional deaths, totaling 494 statewide. PA Department of Health Office of the Governor
According to PA Department of Health there are 1,366 new cases of #COVID19 and 17 additional deaths. This data brings the statewide total case count to 24,199 and death toll to 524.
- Allegheny County Health Department confirms 3 additional deaths and 17 new positive #COVID19 cases in the county. So far, all deaths are of individuals ranging from 56-103, with 84 being the median age.
Allegheny Co. Health Dept. is now tracking probable cases and deaths. Allegheny County Health Department announces: -26 new #COVID19 cases, bringing the total to 1,035. -3 additional deaths, bringing the death toll to 50.
- Dr. Rachel Levine emphasizes the 276 additional #coronavirus deaths reported today, did not all happen overnight. This significant increase is due to changes in how PA Department of Health collects their data.
REMINDER: PA's mask enforcement for customers and employees of essential businesses goes into effect tonight at 8:00 pm. Dr. Rachel Levine signed an order on Wednesday that requires anyone over the age of 2 must wear a mask, unless they have a medical condition that prevents it.
- Allegheny County Health Department announces 7 new #coronavirus cases, bringing the total to 1,042. This is the first single-digit rise to occur in nearly a month for Allegheny County. Compared to the 26 cases reported Sunday, this is a significant decrease.
