Spotted a pyrocumulus cloud bubbling up from the Bear Gulch Fire in the Olympic Peninusla last evening. A big indicator of an intense wildfire, as now it has burned more than 3000 acres! #wawx #BearGulchFire

Lots of smoke from the Bear Gulch Fire moving over Seattle now and soon the Eastside as westerly winds aloft pushes the smoke east. View from the Issaquah Highlands #wawx #BearGulchFire

Last night, mark stewart and I decided to full send it to the Olympic coastline to try our luck at capturing bioluminescence. While it wasn’t super bright, this was my first time ever seeing such a phenomenon and it was amazing to see! #wawx
