I felt the urge to drink again this weekend. I've been dry for two weeks. Swapping a nice cold IPA with a kombucha was a real struggle. But what's easy and attractive often makes us feel like crap later. Struggle gives us a chance to act like the heroes of our own story.

My wife and I were flying back east to visit family when a tornado cancelled our connecting flight out of Chicago. Its 1:32 am and I could be bent but instead I feel happy to have time to think and write. Every moment is an opportunity for awakening if you are prepared.
