September's Overture Maps Foundation release is out. It's grown from 465 GB in April to 508 GB. 19 GB of that is buildings. Yellow & orange are places with a net increase in buildings over last month. Purple and black have seen a net decrease.

Big speed-up on the way for GPKG file creation with DuckDB's Spatial extension. Writing Parquet files with millions of records is super quick but even ~50K-record GPKG files were oddly slow in the past. I'll do some benchmarking when DuckDB v1.5 drops. github.com/duckdb/duckdb-…
