An excellent moth trapping session at Prawle Point with James Hunter about 70 species ish including some excellent moths

Lovely to see Triangular club rush and it's hybrid with grey club rush on the River Tamar for #wildflowerhour

Great to find Jersey Ladybird (Calvia decemguttata) in the New Forest today

Some Lovely Marsh Gentians from the New Forest earlier today for #wildflowerhour

Slim pickings in the garden trap (VC29) , not helped by only turning one of the traps on some tigers the best

Clearly two moths stood out in last nights catch from my nature reserve (VC29) 30 species in total

Greece 🇬🇷 Day 1 - Well my quest for Mediterranean Monk seals did not go well today, 9 hours without any luck. But a few nice birds to keep the spirits up. 1/2

Greece 🇬🇷 Day 2 - With the Mediterranean Monk seal in the bag, I relaxed photographing jellyfish, travelled back to Athens and moth trapped in the evening 2/2

Greece 🇬🇷 Day 3 - My last day in Greece was spent doing some helping and a bit of general wildlife searching. Balkan water frog the only herp that allowed a photo everything else moved very quickly. Glass lizard the pick of 6 species and plenty of interesting insects.
