Whilst below 7440 the FTSE is still potentially negative!

The FTSE failed below 7440 yet again yesterday and supports a move to 7200 over the coming weeks.

The FTSE remains negative and I am looking for a move down into the 7200 range (1/2)

As its expiry in a few days we could see some movement up and down as traders adjust positions (2/2)

The FTSE squeezed higher yesterday which it can often do leading up to expiry (1/2)

and now we are entering into an area where I see value to sell (2/2)

If we don't see a big move today the range could be contained between 7460 and 7525

A breach of Fridays lows at 7433 should also see a move down to 7410.

We remain in a longer term short on the #FTSE targeting 7200...

Its FOMC today in America and also there is a small dividend on the FTSE so if 7400 holds (1/2)

then we could see a final rally on the FTSE today up towards 7480 (2/2)

#BOE news out today at 12pm so this will be an influence on sterling dollar and therefore FTSE. (1/2)

One issue is the pound has been very strong of late so if profit taking comes in this will boost the FTSE. (2/2)
