I’m about to blow a lot of people’s minds, but it’s not the “60’s, 70’s, 80’s, and 90’s.” It’s sixties (60s), seventies (70s), eighties (80s), and nineties (90s). Plural. Not possessive.

Mark my words, a decade from now the way United forced Rashford's exit will be remembered as one of the worst moments in our clubs history. Everyone would claim they were always against it. But history would remember and it wont be kind.

In 1993, the New York Times published an article criticising Federico Fellini and some other foreign language films for being "hard work". MARTIN SCORSESE sent this incredible letter in response.

It's over! Shamrock Rovers 0 Santa Clara 0. Shamrock Rovers win 2-1 on agg They became the first League of Ireland side to qualify without availing of the non-champions route. And, for the first time, we have two LOI clubs in league phase football. Uncharted territory

At least one Dubliner, Shamrock Rovers' Roberto Lopes, looks like he's going to the World Cup next year. The Rovers shop would make a decent profit if they stocked Cape Verde shirts

Every time I visit a hospital I'm shocked at the attitude of some of the other patients towards staff. I get it's a worrying situation & the NHS has been run down for over a decade but it's not the staff's fault. Be nice, it costs you nothing & might mean they are nice to you.

Maria Steen (Iona Institute) wants people to respect her faith. She weaponised her faith in two referenda by campaigning against Marriage Equality and Repeal. She wants to drag Ireland back to the dark ages of a theocracy and an indoctrination of shame.
