Last night we said farewell to my Dad. Our family, Canada and the world lost a remarkable man.

I am sorry I never posted about Jim Hopson. He was a giant of the game, a calm voice at the CFL board table, passionate for his community, a visionary and a true friend. I loved my time working with him. I am sitting in my backyard thinking about Jim! Miss you big guy!

I always had great fun interacting with Dutchy when I was Commish. Lot’s of laughs when he hosted many events for the CFL. Thanks for loving our game. My thoughts are with your family. RIP
