Ah, here we go again. If GPs contend that their selling medicines isn’t retailing, they should extend the same courtesy to pharmacists providing clinical services. If anything, it might be good to study and discuss with pharmacists rather than launch straight into accusations.

Ah, I think the toll of too many days gone by without a proper break to disconnect from work and other professional engagements is showing itself. Time to step back and catch my breath.

This shift can only happen if we move away from a physician-controlled system and empower allied healthcare professionals, expanding their capacity to provide healthcare within their areas of expertise.

While both academia and startups work on innovation (whatever that means to you), asking academia to adopt startup practices e.g. fail fast, minimally viable product etc., hackathons, is a recipe for failure - failure to teach, think deeply, and explore fundamental ideas.
