Why has no one addressed the fact that IPAS centres weren’t really an issue until they found out that Ireland was the golden place with no deportations after rejection, an extremely high acceptance rate and not even needing a passport when you land at the airport. #RTEUpfront

Helen McEntee and Katie Hannon are united in shouting as loud as they can every time Peadar Toibin starts mentioning actual facts and statistical information rather than just empty promises like everyone else #RTEUpfront

I fail to see much hope in the future of Irish politics. Are we going to be stuck forever with a never ending choice between a coalition of ineffective centrist dross and a loony leftist coalition? #ExitPoll #GE24

Mark 🇮🇪 (@markbrady954) 's Twitter Profile Photo

Unfortunately we’re heading for demographic replacement no matter which one of these coalitions are formed. There will be no end to the housing crisis as none of these parties are going to lower immigration. Why is common sense so uncommon in Irish politics? #ExitPoll #GE24

People who think that Sinn Fein would solve our housing crisis severely need a reality check. Mass immigration is the root problem. Sinn Fein do not plan on reducing immigration. We built the most houses per capita in Europe last year at 40k Meanwhile we took in 140k immigrants

How is nobody questioning the fact that a small island nation situated 1000s of miles away from Africa and Asia is matched only by nations that are a stones throw from Libya and Syria in terms of asylum seeking? Noticing that something is clearly wrong shouldn’t be controversial

Even after numerous restrictions and heavy policing etc, the Germans still couldn’t stop this happening. How exactly do the Irish government of all people expect to stop this kind of thing when every other country fails? Why is it so difficult to learn from our neighbours?

How have the media actually managed to completely change the definition of diverse into “non white”. The north is the most “diverse” place in Europe with natives being only like 45% of the population and look at all the hardships and war that they’ve had because of it.

Irish people seriously need to wake up before this kind of thing becomes a regular occurrence here also. The Parnell Square incident obviously wasn’t enough. They behave like this everywhere and Ireland isn’t and won’t be an exception. How much more of this do we have to take?

It should be obvious to anyone that the reason why so many people are willing to travel through Spain,France, England etc to “seek asylum” in Ireland is due to our substandard vetting. It’s no coincidence that this man, Quham Babatunde and Peter Dube all came to seek asylum here.

It shows the state of the political situation in Ireland that deporting just 30 people has positioned Fianna Fáil to the right of Sinn Fein and Fine Gael on the immigration issue. At least it’s a start though and it may act as a slight deterrent if it continues.

An image of the Dáil at full capacity if we prosecuted our politicians for giving their friends government money and creating fake jobs for them.

Why are so many of the larger Irish “nationalist” accounts such clowns? The whole thing basically started also because he got upset that someone pointed out that not having a border with the UK due to unionist planters results in more asylum seekers than those coming from the EU

8 cars for €1.6 million…. €200k each. A brand new Range Rover doesn’t even cost that much. Government contracts to friends of politicians is probably a bigger issue here than in places like Eastern Europe. What’s wrong with giving them a €5k Ford Focus or nothing at all?

Can’t wait to see all the very intelligent American takes about the IRA and how we love Muslims etc when this Tucker Carlson interview is aired.

Why exactly do we have a monument in Donegal honouring the people who slaughtered between 50-70,000 civilians between 1936-1939 with a special target set out for Priests and Nuns? It’s amazing how historically naïve some people are. Imagine if this was honouring Nazis instead

Not a fan of Kneecap but it’s mad the way you can basically do or say whatever you want as long as it doesn’t offend the Jews in countries with significant Jewish populations. Look at what happened to Gary Lineker also. They didn’t get kicked out of every country for no reason.
