God give me the strength of US news anchors discussing the prospect of Trump giving a speech which attempts to build bridges with the left.

Europe now stands alone in confronting the largest threat to its security since the annexation of the Rhineland.

Well, I sure as hell hope that there’s some pretty serious conversations going on in Europe today regarding defence.

It’s always fun living through a new chapter of a John Keegan book.

I wish we could’ve at least enjoyed the roaring 20’s part, before we skipped to the 1930’s bit.
