Grant Fagerheim (Whitecap Resources / Wexit supporter, Didsbury operator), Didsbury MLA AND a Didsbury Dr. named to this (dubious) panel? Hmm. Danielle Smith names ‘Alberta Next Panel,’ recites litany of dubious grievances with Ottawa - Alberta Politics albertapolitics.ca/2025/06/daniel…

Nothing glitzy about the oil & gas operator on one’s land: ❌ refusing to compensate for losses, ❌ unwilling to operate safely; or, ❌ failing to pay local taxes, with no consequences to the company but with many negative results for area residents. thenarwhal.ca/alberta-big-oi…

Perhaps Peter Mansbridge might tell the whole story by podcast? Alberta’s oil & gas industry will never be ethical until the rights of host landowners (to be safe and fully compensated for losses caused by the operator and operations) are fully observed. cc: Danielle Smith

Thanks to the The Narwhal for covering our June 10, 2024 meeting of the Warburg Pembina Surface Rights Group. On July 8 and Aug. 12 speakers will address Alberta’s “Mature (oil & gas) Asset Strategy”. MLAs are invited and encouraged to participate.

Hmm. I wonder if Olds Didsbury Three Hills MLA elect Tara Sawyer knows (as Nathan Cooper did) about illegal and unsafe operations overseen by her fellow panel member Grant Fagerheim of Whitecap Resources - just how much pain and suffering Fagerheim has caused her constituents?

Mark Dorin (@mark_dorin) 's Twitter Profile Photo

I have this feeling that Tara Sawyer is going to find out. What a poor choice by the Premier (Fagerheim) especially coupled with appointment of a Didsbury physician. Illegal gas venting in towns like Didsbury causes unnecessary illness. So be it.

.Tara Sawyer. Please meet a constituent, my mother Shirley Dorin, a leading citizen of Didsbury. I look forward to your standing up for the land and safety rights of your constituents against attacks on such rights by the likes of Grant Fagerheim. youtu.be/cM3X9G1Zey8?si…

After 19 long months of surgeries, chemo poisoning, pulmonary embolism and recoveries in between… I FEEL GREAT on this 🎆🇨🇦 Canada Day 🇨🇦🎆 Don’t stand for the malignant talk of separation by turn coat Albertans! Speak up and fight for the life of our country!

Take note Alberta separatists and “freedom” lovers. Think hard before discarding what you already have for pie in the sky (before gambling with the future).

Attendance at this important event by MLA Andrew Boitchenko requested. We provide info. for landowners & those involved in the (underperforming) cleanup industry. Next event on Mature Asset Strategy Aug. 12 at Warburg. One MLA has agreed to participate/speak. We invite others.

This piece is evidence of just how bad landowner/public safety issues have to become before ⁦Alberta Energy Regulator⁩ will take action against bad actor oil & gas companies. #AERReform Troubled Alberta oil and gas company faces regulatory ultimatum | CBC News cbc.ca/news/canada/ed…

The regulators of oil and gas activities in both jurisdictions, which are the Texas Railroad Commission and the Alberta Energy Regulator (Alberta Energy Regulator), are doing an equally poor job. Lots of “beefs” between abused surface rights owners (landowners) and operators. #AERReform

I worked in and travelled throughout the Libyan desert over decades. So many fascinating things that very few people get to see. This is just one of many examples.

I’ve decided to start publicly naming and shaming dead beat oil companies that are in default of their contractual and legislated obligations to compensate landowners for well sites. This outfit takes advantage of little old ladies and wastes my time. bsrl.ca

Mark Dorin (@mark_dorin) 's Twitter Profile Photo

Albertans, do you realize that when delinquent oil companies fail to compensate landowners including little old ladies, your tax dollars are used to subsidize these deadbeats (section 36, Surface Rights Act)❓ Who are you for Danielle Smith? Dead beats or little old ladies❓

Mark Dorin (@mark_dorin) 's Twitter Profile Photo

How would you like to have a dozen or so derelict unsafe well sites on your property while the deadbeat company like this one refuses to compensate you for your losses (hundreds of thousands $) as required by law?

BiggieJohn In the US citizens will unfortunately have to pay for the sins of oil and gas. However, in Alberta, Canada we still have laws on the books (for now, largely ignored) that require industry to pay. These laws are under attack by industry as citizens ignorantly slumber.
