Good points Richard but can we set all specific figures against overall numbers - the annual Australian GDP is - what? $A2 trillion and fed govt spend is ~ $700 bill - in isolation numbers mean nothing

And Stephen can every figure be accompanied by a sentence saying “To put that in context, the federal government this year will spend, in total, $500 billion (or whatever the figure is) single numbers alone are meaningless
