The problem with posting a #design a day for the #100daysofdesign challenge is that AFTER you post it, everything about it looks 💩 and you find faults everywhere. When you don't allow time to obsess and fine-tune, you gotta be okay with just getting the work out.

Every time I design a landing page, I realise that good copy is infinitely more important than good design.

10 valuable lessons I've learned about sales from running 2 Christmas Markets. 1. Make sure your business stands out from the crowd with great branding. 2. Build an emotional connection first by chatting to customers. 3. Maximise profits by just selling bundles eg 3 for £10.

AI won't replace Designers. Designers who use AI will replace those who don't. Speed and quality are the priority - regardless if it was done by a human or not.

When you are designing a website, there is no reason at all to do this in Figma. Design in Framer instead. You get a real web development context with its real constraints. Since the web has its constraints. And you're 3x faster, since you build it at the same time.

Repeat after me: “I will not use purple gradients or Inter in my designs this year”

The last day of the year 2023 I managed to pull off the #100daysofdesign challenge just in time. I missed a few days consistently posting because of work and other priorities, but still pretty stoked I got this done. Here’s to an amazing 2024 design year ahead 💪
