This morning I will be speaking at a Bruegel event with Guntram Wolff on the #eurogroup’s agenda post-covid19.

Amanhã é a minha reunião como Presidente do #Eurogrupo. É o final de um mandato em que reforçámos o € e as suas instituições, tornámos o Eurogrupo mais eficaz na gestão de crises e reclamámos uma posição de comando na coordenação de políticas económicas.

Tomorrow is my last meeting as #Eurogroup President. In my mandate we reinforced the € and its institutions. While in bad times we made the Eurogroup a more effective crisis manager, in good times we carved a new role for the Eurogroup in steering economic and fiscal policies.

My last #Eurogroup will be marked by the election of my successor, but before that we will discuss the state of our economy.
