My Black and Brown colleagues are not ok. I am not ok. Four of us are mamas raising Black and Brown sons. We work Headwaters Foundation for Justice (HFJ) because we believe that another world is possible. Moments like this are so heavy that the anger and anxiety are excruciating.

Bosses: what r u doing to care 4 ur Black staff? Do they have the freedom to “call in Black” tmrw? R u providing $$ to support healing? If you don’t have a plan, get ready to be flexible. Black folks need us to stand up and get out of the way.
