Hit the Northside Trail: I and my volunteers will be at a table on the trail at McAdam Avenue tomorrow from 10am-1pm and we would love to meet you. Mini-pots containing future giants will be given to those who stop by to chat. Come pick up trail garbage. COVID protocols observed

I retweet this because a civil society group I support asked Fredericton City Council on several occasions to present on declaring a Climate Emergency. They refused to hear or refer us to Committee. STU Students got same treatment. How is that democracy?

Seems appropriate to mark this day. Too many are killed working for others' benefit. The COVID pandemic has seen too many deaths of essential workers. Thank you to those who remain on the job despite the dangers.

On #RedDressDay, we remember and honour the many Indigenous women and girls we have lost to violence. More must be done to stand up against this injustice – and to enact the recommendations of the National Inquiry. #MMIWG

So pleased to be able to feature some of the very talented artists in Ward 1 in Fredericton. Karen Leblanc is a weaver and Brigitte Clavette is a metalsmith. There are so many others tucked away...know any of them?

Tax avoidance, whether in the Isle of Man, Bermuda or elsewhere, is "fraud" - a massive rip-off of those of us who actually ante up and pay our fair share of taxes. cbc.ca/news/politics/…

When someone moans about $3.5 trillion spending over 10 years, perhaps remind them that the estimates for the cost of unchecked climate change top out at $551 trillion, which is more money than there is on earth at the moment.

Kingston ON gets a P.A.C.E. program for home energy retrofits. fcm.ca/en/news-media/… NB Municipalities (with few exceptions) cannot access this money to help their citizens. Need legislative change from PNB to facilitate this.
