As my time on the North East Coast comes to an end here's what I've been drawing with water-soluble pastels and ink pens. As you can see every day has been spent on or near the beach.

Looking through the Northumberland Coast photos I like these panorama shots where I’ve moved the camera. However getting unblurred pictures wasn’t easy when there were moving waves.

Visited the 10th print exhibition at the Rheged Centre, Penrith today. Lots of lovely prints and we were tempted by: Nuts – Linocut – Sarah Cemmick Tall Pines – Linocut – Laura Boswell. Both heading into grey frames and then we play the game of where are these going?

When the landing looks like this, artworks are on their travels and lots of bags and boxes. Didn’t seem much point in putting the items back on the storage shelves. Changeover of some items in the Upper Eden Visitor Centre this week. Prom Art 29th Jun. Art in the Hills 12th Jul.

Had a flower walk along the Viaduct path yesterday (well more of a hobble really as my knee is playing up). Lots of wild flowers catching the sunshine.

Also happening over the Westmorland Dales Festival weekend on 26 & 27 July - we’re excited to see art taking over from livestock in the Kirkby Stephen auction mart pens for the very first time!
