The Early Recovery Project, initiated by the Mandere Relief and Development Organisation (MARDO) and funded by the World Food Programme (WFP), aims to strengthen community resilience in response to recent crises. It focuses on the Hudur and Qansahdhere districts. WFP Somalia
The MARDO Regional Cold Chain Team, in collaboration with UNICEF Somalia, conducted a supervision visit to Bakol Regional Hospital & SOS facility in Hudur. The visit focused on assessing SDD systems, vaccine management & EPI chart use to strengthen immunization delivery.
MARDO Hudur team continues to strengthen nutrition efforts through the BSFP and TSFP programs — supporting children under five & PLWs to combat malnutrition and improve community health to our target beneficiaries. Thanks to funding and support from WFP Somalia

From dependency to self-reliance. Through the BRCiS III project, MARDO & Action Against Hunger, Somalia rehabilitated the Qulqul shallow well in Wajid, empowering SHG members like Muslimo Hassan to grow crops, earn income & strengthen resilience.
Under the GFFO project, MARDO’s Health & Nutrition team in Baidoa held a cooking demo promoting the use of locally grown foods to improve children’s nutrition. 396 HHs under the MPCA program joined the session at Wadajir MCH. Thanks to support from World Vision
