hey there Van Helsing is on Netflix, truly one of the most awful Vampire films ever made, (the accents oh dear) but lots of fun and the one in which Richard Roxburgh met his future wife, soprano and fabulous cook, Silvia Colloca.

wife and eldest have just been out for lunch while I kind of babysat his son not really, they are about to watch Silo on Apple (heard great things but can only do so much dystopia in a year)...time for something light and fluffy :)

1. Horrible paedophile priest Peter Searson was one of the clergy abusers the Royal Commission found George Pell must have known about. I’ve just had word one of his victims (aged in his 50s) has been found dead in his home (had been for some time) & a second recently suicided.

2. The first victim corresponded with me for years. He led a difficult life. He was lonely & angry & never got over what was done to him as a little boy. He was only one of many victims of the priests Pell protected who died prematurely. This legacy should never be forgotten.

And none of these victims had huge funerals with powerful people calling them saints and martyrs. They just had to get on with their lives, until, eventually, they couldn’t.

received a couple of most excellent followers today and went and had a look at that list for the first time in a donkey's age - so porn bots are a thing aren't they? good lord!
