It is shocking to me that so many left wing politicians attack the idea of prayer in response to a tragedy. Literally no one thinks prayer is a substitute for action. We pray because our hearts are broken and we believe that God is listening.

One thing that isn’t discussed is how incredibly demoralizing it must be for cops who arrest the same criminals over and over again only to have them dumped back onto the streets. What’s the point of risking your life to haul these animals to jail if they’ll be free tomorrow?
