More sad news as we learn of the passing of WW11 RAF veteran #NeilFlaniganMBE , weeks short of his 100th birthday. I was honoured to take this photograph of him at Buckingham Palace's unveiling of portraits of members of the Windrush generation, to mark #Windrush75 , last June. 💔

They got a second inquest which revealed how Seni was killed.

The coroner's court said the officers restrained him in a disproportionate way.

Two years ago we lost my wife Dr Nicole Andrews to a breast cancer that is 3x more likely to kill Black women. Her work was important and inspiring; she decided the concept 'Blackness is the roundabout'. On this day I share my dedication to her in #BlacknessAtTheIntersection
