We are privileged to have two young experts joining SOS Children's Villages International EU advocacy workshop to discuss challenges faced by youth without or at risk of losing parental care and what the EU can do about it. #EU initiatives are effective and meaningful only when #youthvoices are heard!

Today, representatives of SOS Children's Villages International from 15 EU countries met with Milan Brglez to discuss #mentalhealth and #childguarantee. The #europeanparliament has a key role to play to ensure #EU initiatives respond to the specific needs of children without parental care.

We are grateful to Biliana Sirakova for meeting with us and for the insightful conversation about care leavers' vulnerabilities in connection to the European Youth Strategy, as well as aspects  that allow their inclusion at the European and, subsequently, national levels.
