The map is cool, but as Stephen Pow has discussed here, the map should go far further into the north. Chris Atwood has shown that the Mongol Empire sent expeditions to Kamchatka, and gyrfalcons from the Arctic Circle were major tributes. researchgate.net/publication/32…
