Our new #chatsafe paper exploring the concerns of parents, carers and mental health professionals about self-harm and suicide related content on social media is available 🚨 Dr Jo Robinson AM (she/her) Amanda Sabo Michelle Lamblin Orygen bmcpublichealth.biomedcentral.com/articles/10.11…

We know that many adults worry about the content that young people see on social media. We learnt that this concern greatly increases when we consider content related to self-harm or suicide.

We also learnt that many parents feel unprepared or uncomfortable discussing #onlinesafety, #selfharm, and #suicide with their young person. That's where #chatsafe can help.
