I strongly support Supervisor Jackie Fielder’s inquiry into the SFPD car chase that led to 6 people being injured on Sunday, and I share her concerns about SFPD engaging in dangerous car chases.

Today, we honor the legendary Public Defender Jeff Adachi whom we lost too soon. In 2016, when our country was in a similar situation, Jeff reminded us that, "We all have to be public defenders now to defend our own humanity." We keep that torch lit San Francisco Public Defender's Office every day!
