*Crazy* idea but what if AMC Theatres actually enforced the "no phones" policy like the Alamo Drafthouse? I feel like right now there's about a 75% chance that someone (after paying $20+ for a ticket) pulls out their phone in the middle of the movie

He does. It’s an old Disney scam where they slightly rename a series to reset contract terms back to first season. Needs to be addressed by all the guilds/unions and crushed!

AI isn't scary because of what it's going to do to humans, it's scary because of what it's going to allow humans to do to humans.

I hope Oppenheimer being constantly sold out everywhere on 4k and Blu Ray tells Best Buy their decision to stop selling physical movies is fucking stupid

Make no mistake, Zaslav made the strategic decision to greenlight a movie, shoot it, edit it, and then decided not release it because he wanted a tax break. Make no mistake, making sure people's work never sees the light of day is not courageous. It's cowardice.

Cord Jefferson calling out Hollywood during his Oscar speech…hell yes “Instead of making one $200 million movie, try making twenty $10 million movies or fifty $4 million movies”
