I spent an utterly wonderful day at Kino Rye and Lamb House, Rye, yesterday chatting about books and film and screenplays and Darjeeling tea and short shorts (!) and nuns and ghosts and Rumer Godden. I love this Virago Press edition of Black Narcissus and Rumer’s wallpaper too…
