Our Chittoor Only big request to South Central Railway DRM Guntakal is to go for 130 mps while doubling this TPTY - KPD line, and not regressively stick to 110 mps, as Ministry of Railways is aiming at upgrading to 130 & 160 mps all over its network.

As MAHSR is nearing completion, chances for Govt to take up other corridors (for which DPRs are ready) are high. Going by the latest news, this may not follow MAHSR model, but by International Competitive Bidding in DBFOT model, with emphasis on Make in India.

After completion, the most comfortable and fastest route to Tirupati from BLR via Bengaluru Chennai Expressway, is this way. (Watch the Video). The other route is exit BCE at Mogili and travel on NH69 till Chittoor bypass. (Have to pay NH toll at Mahasamudram).

Toll collecction has started from today in KA section of Bengaluru Chennai Expressway. As already mentioned in below pic, toll from Hoskote to Sundarapalya is 185 Rs for 72 Kms.

Remember the hill being blasted to construct a loop for Chittoor interchange on BCE linking NH40? This is the same location now. The IC is almost complete except for this Loop road.
