Forty years after the [C₅(CF₃)₅]⁻ ligand was first synthesized, the fluorinated cyclopentadienyl derivative has finally found a metal partner. fal.cn/3ruPC

42 years after the ligand synthesis Moritz Malischewski group has achieved the first metal complex of perfluorinated Cp* ring with Rh. Such a complex has remained elusive due to the electron deficiency of this Cp* ring.#FeaturedStructureFriday CSDEntry GERLAU hubs.ly/Q01mtkv60

It may be late but I’m absolutely delighted to see this work finally out in public, it’s been a very longtime coming. But here it is: the worlds first Robotic Schlenk Line! @chemrxiv Bell Group chemrxiv.org/engage/chemrxi…

🌊🌊🌊Glad our interpretation of the "The Great Wave off Kanagawa" made it on the front cover of the current issue of Accounts of Chemical Research. 🌊🌊🌊 Read about our new wave of TMCCs in condensed phase here: doi.org/10.1021/acs.ac…

It was quite a challenge to get a oxidation agent, which unites the potential, the selectivity and the commercial availability of the precursor. But after three years, I can finally present a reagent, which has a redox potential of +2 V vs. Fc+/0 See below 👇

Push it, push it! After four years of work we can finally present the extreme redox potentials of Ag+ and NO+ (>+1.5 V vs. Fc/0) through the combination of fluorobenzenes and our WCAs in Nature Communications Universität Freiburg Malte Sellin nature.com/articles/s4146…

Welcome to Matthis (seilermatthis) who has joined us for 4 months from the Krossing Group Freiburg Chemistry Institutes. Not expecting "no reaction" when we add Krossing oxidising agents (aka de-electronators) to Jones reducing agents (re-electronators?)! 🧨#ozchem Monash Chemistry
