Year 8 Careers: Council Exposure Session Period 1 today, all of Year 8 had a session exploring different jobs and roles in the council, Rotherham’s second biggest employer. Our Maltby Academy Enterprise Advisor, Andy Noble Officer is at RMBC and Claire Moseley lead the session.

This morning, we had Danielle in from Rotherham College, RNN Group, to speak to our year 10 students about their college options for Post 16. Our provision ensures that KS4 students have a comprehensive offer to help them make the most informed decisions about next steps.

Yesterday, was the #leadingtheway2025 conference. A phenomenal event with the opportunity for collaboration with employers and providers, and exploring the Hub’s roadmap for what lays ahead with the changes to the Gatsby Benchmarks.

At the awards, we were recognised for our Oustanding Careers Leadership & our Progress of Gatsby Benchmarks, with as our Enterprise Advisor Andy Noble (RMBC) collecting the Employer Engagement award. We are extremely lucky to work with Andy, & our Careers Consultant Julie Hussey.
