Thanks Shameek Ghosh & Stephen Young for tonight's talks to improve knowledge graphs for a clinical chat app, and less-seen graph structures and their pluses for LLMs A few young engineers/entrepreneurs attended with great questions. High knowledge benchmark, but a good learn

I visited the Changi Chapel and Museum in Singapore, exhibiting the lives of allied forces imprisoned during WWII. A powerful reminder no matter how dark things get, don't lose hope and keep striving to get to the other side of the situation. Also, there was a tour guide robot.

Walked through the Chinese & Japanese gardens in Jurong, and I saw a wild squirrel? Also visited the Singapore Discovery Centre, whose permanent exhibit on the country's founding is both harrowing and inspiring. Special thanks to the kind bespectacled staff who helped me around.

National Museum of Singapore is great. Standing underneath the parabolic reflector in front of the podium gives the effect of feeling like you're listening to one of LKY's speeches live. I also got to see a tech person fix one of the boating interactives and staff testing it.

I have to praise whomever the graphic designers were for Level 2 of the Singapore Air Force Museum's futuristic tech-styled interactives, very cool.

The number and variety of books at Kinokuniya Orchard Singapore is great. It feels like it's twice or even triple that of the Sydney branch. I also found one of OccupyTheWeb's books, which is the first time I've seen it on a store shelf. So these 3 books will be my haul.
