Today, students and staff from Lira University were introduced to the library services and facilities during their benchmarking visit Makerere University. They also toured the different sections of the library, including the Mothers' Space and the laboratory for users with special needs.

We are committed to providing inclusive library services. Some members of staff were trained in sign language, and students with hearing impairment Makerere University, Makerere Students' Guild can easily be assisted to meet their information needs.

Happening Now: Makerere University library staff showcasing historical and geographical information at the Makerere University CEDAT exhibition. This is intended to promote the use of both electronic and physical resources and other library related services.
