We had a great time at #ouluartsnight #ouluntaiteidenyö: Over 60 people came by, thought a cause they want to raise awareness about, and designed and created jewellery with a message with #make4change. Here are some snaps from our #digitalfabrication and #designactivism night!

#make4change popped in to Oulun kaupungin nuorten työpajat and started a #digitalfabrication journey with participants by making kick-ass customized reflectors with #inkscape and #vinylcutter. Nights are getting dark - Time to shine!!

After basics of #inkscape, #make4change moved to bigger and better things: participants from oulu city youth workshops designed bags with #vinylcut stickers to represent their workshop! Here are some examples of the process: from paper to computer to vinyl to heatpress to awesome

This week we continued adventures in #digitalfabrication with Oulu youth workshops! The participants can now rock #inkscape and learned how the #lasercutter works, and how different settings affect the outcomes. We made some unique lanterns to brighten cold november evenings 🥰

#throwback to late November when we had some #digitalfabrication fun with people from Kulttuurivoimala. With a very skilful and creative bunch we designed and manufactured reflectors and canvas bags with #vinylcutter, and keychains and lanterns with #lasercutter. 🫶

Last week we had fun in our #vinylcutting workshop with Haukipudas crew from Oulun kaupungin nuorten työpajat. We were happy to have so many makers at #fablab and they made some cool prints and stickers! Looking forward to continuing digitalfabrication journey with you guys🔥

Make4Change got back to #digitalfabrication with Haukipudas crew, Nuorten työpajat Oulu. This time we learned about #lasercutting ! We ended up with beautiful lanterns and boxes, and also saw a very cool experiment with leather. Thanks to all participants and see you again!🤩

We had a nice and productive #vinylcutting workshop last week with participants from the international community in Oulu. There were a lot of beautiful ideas and everyone got many new experiences!💯 #fablab

We are happy to see people getting excited about #digitalfabrication ! One of our workshop participants has continued on her own, and made some beautiful designs. For the laser cut lamp she designed and 3D printed butterflies and used some left over pieces of acrylic. Cool idea!

Lately we had so much fun with our international group on #lasercutter workshop! We learned about #2ddesign , operating the laser cutter and different materials. We all clearly shared the passion for #making , and we were blown away by the beautiful designs! Thank you guys.🥰

Last week we had our #3d modelling workshop with the international group. We learned about the basics of 3D design and printing, made individual designs, helped each other on the way..and had a few laughs. It was such a nice bunch. Thank you guys!🤩
