At the opening of the 18th National Anti-Corruption Conference in Montenegro organized by NVOMANS, Ambassador Elgersma emphasized the importance of government transparency and close cooperation with civil society. Both are essential for a successful fight against corruption.

🇲🇪 Pleased to (re)meet with the directors of Agencija za sprečavanje korupcije and Agencija za audiovizuelne medijske usluge CG in Montenegro. Both institutions have a key role within the democratic system and are important role in achieving the closing benchmarks in Chapter 23 of the EU accession negotiations.

We marked the closing conference of an 🇳🇱-supported project focused on strengthening environmental protection. Through the project Organizacija KOD produced documentaries, pointing at the importance of environmental policies and contributing to public debates after airing on TV.

We recently visited Dutch company CTP, Europe’s largest listed owner, developer & manager of logistics and industrial real estate. Since 2017, CTP has invested €360M in projects in Serbia, employing 6,000 people. 🇳🇱🤝🇷🇸 Looking ahead to 2026! ✨❄️
