As an editor bringing in stellar interdisciplinary work on race and media has brought me in conversations with some brave and passionate decolonial scholars. Nathasha Fernando 's paper on feminist podcasting, race and politics of allyship in Italy blew our minds at #ica24 .

Thank you Cyberdivalive for kicking down doors and holding the space for people like me. You are a pioneer and dreamer and I am privileged to be your collaborator, fellow plotter and friend.

Conferences spaces like these have always given me hope and clarity. As I finally start writing my book proposal I feel lucky to be surrounded by such brilliant, kind and critical friends. #ica24 reminded me that I don't need to walk the road alone.
