Cormorant at the edge of the Central Park Meer this morning. I've only seen adult males--glossy and black--in NYC parks before this, so I'm glad there was a birder there to confirm that this was indeed a cormorant, either female or juvenile.

Argento fans: Thoughts about the upcoming remake of Suspiria? I love Argento, but story isn't his strong suit and the trailers for the new version make it clear that the look is realistic, unlike the original's candy-colored fairy tale aesthetic.
